There's a tiredness that no holiday fixes.A nature cure gives your body the conditions, food and rest it needs to heal itself.
Sacred Pause Holidays make the experience accessible
Kalyan is not a luxury spa. It is a genuine medical facility near Bhuj, Gujarat, where qualified doctors oversee your care personally, every single day. Your programme is built around you — your constitution, your history, your needs — and adapts as you respond to treatment.
A typical day has a beautiful simplicity. Morning yoga with the centre's own teacher. Breakfast. A daily doctor's appointment that sets your personal treatment programme. Lunch. Rest. A light snack. Afternoon treatments. Dinner.
No decisions to make.
That in itself is part of the medicine.
The food is clean, seasonal and carefully considered — not punishment, but relief.

Accommodation at Kalyan is clean, comfortable and designed for rest.
Rooms are available for single or double occupancy, with all meals, laundry and treatments included in your stay.
Everything you need is on site.
Everything you don't need is left behind.

Treatments include Panchakarma, Abhyangam massage, mud therapy, hydrotherapy, steam therapy, acupuncture, yoga therapy and Ayurvedic treatments.
All treatments are included in your stay — nothing is charged extra.
Your daily doctor's consultation determines exactly what your body needs that day.
Nothing is fixed.
Everything is personal.

The nature cure diet is simple, seasonal and plant-based — carefully calibrated to support your treatments and allow your digestive system to rest and reset.
I can tell you from personal experience that the food is delicious and there is plenty of it.
This is not deprivation.
It is nourishment — and most guests leave with a changed relationship to food that lasts well beyond the retreat.
Kutch is one of the most extraordinary regions on earth — a vast white salt desert, ancient craft traditions, communities whose embroidery, natural dyeing and weaving have been passed down for centuries without interruption.
On Sunday afternoons I take the group out into that world. Not on tourist buses to managed sites, but into the real texture of the place. One such visit will be Bhujodi, the weavers' village just outside Bhuj, where I have a personal friendship with Khangar, a natural dyer whose knowledge of plant-based dyes is remarkable.
We find the local fetes, the markets, the moments that don't appear in guidebooks.
This is where the retreat becomes an experience you carry with you long after you've come home.

I am Amanda. I’m British, based in the south of France, and I have been travelling to India for many years. I have done three nature cures myself. . I practice yoga daily. I have done for many years. I believe in it completely and have learnt it only works if you do it.
No one else can do that for you.
I am not a doctor or a yoga teacher. I am someone who knows this place, trusts this process and has learned how to take the chaos out of India so that you can simply be present for the experience.
The group never exceeds 10 people. That is a promise — it is a condition of how this works. Small enough that I know everyone's name. Small enough that nobody gets lost.
From the moment you land at Ahmedabad I am with you. You don't need to know how India works.
That's my job.

A complete reset. Long enough to go deep, short enough to fit around a life. Most people are surprised by how much shifts in a fortnight.

For those who want to go further. The body has had time to detox, the mind has begun to settle, and the real work starts.

A full immersion. By this point you are not visiting — you are living it. This is for people with specific health goals or those who simply know they need more time.
Your journey to the retreat begins at Ahmedabad airport, where I will be waiting to meet you on arrival. From there we travel to Bhuj together — by road, train or onward flight depending on the group and the timing. You will never be navigating India alone.
Most guests fly from the UK or France to Mumbai or Delhi, then connect onward to Ahmedabad. Flights are frequent and the connection is straightforward. I am happy to advise on the best routing and timing for your dates so that the group arrives together or within a manageable window.
Visas UK and EU passport holders require an Indian e-visa, which is straightforward to obtain online in advance of travel.
